Job Title: ??Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) I

Department: ??Clinical Research

Reports to: ??Clinical Research Manager or Director

Job Description: ?The Clinical Research Coordinator works hands-on with research participants and protocols. This person meticulously follows protocols, performs research functions, and keeps accurate records of all activities.

Job Responsibilities:

* Collaborate and assist in new research project ideas
* Assist in study design and implementation
* Undergo training on all applicable protocols and protocol-associated documents
* Collaborate with doTERRA teams (Claims and Safety, Quality Control, Oils Development, Marketing, and others) to assess research needs
* Interface with clinical trial participants to answer questions, schedule visits, collect data, handle study products, and assess adverse events (email, text, and in-person)
* Enter and analyze data from research projects
* Maintain databases containing participant information, project templates, and data
* Handle study products and carefully document chain of custody
* Draft correspondence and interface with clinical trial participants in a timely manner
* Maintain training in Human Research Ethics, scientific writing, Protected Health Information handling, Good Laboratory Practices, and all research Standard Operating Procedures
* Provide updates on progress of all research projects
* Design and carry out laboratory experiments as needed
* Perform other responsibilities as directed

Job Qualifications

* Ability to communicate and write effectively
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and teamwork skills
* Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision in identifying research gaps
* Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects concurrently and meet deadlines
* Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physiology, statistics, clinical research, scientific writing, or related field required (medical credentials such as MA, PA, CNA, RN, etc. are also acceptable)
* Experience in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
* Phlebotomy certification strongly preferred
* CRC certification strongly preferred
* 1-2 years’ experience in clinical research and/or laboratory research preferred
* Experience with JMP, SAS, SPSS or other statistical analysis software preferred
