Job Description:

 Full-time position based at our Pleasant Grove campus, directing our team of global supply chain planning professionals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review MRP supply chain parameters, strategically implementing necessary modifications for all supply chain MRP processes with data governance and system configuration teams
  • Collaborate with BI reporting in all relevant supply chain reports, sales, trends, production, and inventory reports, verifying the accuracy and utilizing to recommend supply chain strategies
  • Coordinate with global product marketing the inventory and life-cycle status of ongoing product lines, new launch proposals, and all LTOs and promos, integrating forecasting strategies and harmonizing life-cycle strategies 
  • Evaluate long-term sales patterns for all product categories, providing strategic recommendations for promotional movement where necessary
  • Provide clear expectations on attainable results, including who will do what, by when, and how success will be measured
  • Direct all supply chain analysis, forecasting, and product life cycle management
  • Provide regular supply chain reports to operations’ leadership team, including global inventory trends, market and product forecasting strategies, upcoming launch statuses, cost-savings initiatives and planning related Operations Key Results (OKR) and customer service levels
  • Collaborate with business intelligence in reviewing financial global market growth models and recommending proper demand planning strategies for all markets and products
  • Review market promotional forecasts, coordinating and recommending optimal forecast and inventory strategy to each global market
  • Partner with the global oil sourcing and in-house manufacturing teams to develop short term and long-term global oil forecasts, regularly updated and highlighting irregular product behavior outside the company’s revenue movement
  • Partner with the global procurement team to develop short term and long-term nutritional, personal care, diffusers, etc. forecasts, regularly updated and highlighting irregular product behavior outside the company’s revenue movement
  • Regularly review global inventory trends of all third-party manufactured items, recommending optimal supply chain strategies for localization and procurement from third-party manufacturers.
  • Offer vision as to the role the team plays in the business and how what they do matters
  • Empower team members to identify and communicate opportunities for improvement, propose plans, timelines, and resources needed
  • Assume the role of a long-term coach for team members. Identify those ready for promotion or stretch opportunities and help plan next steps with them. Create opportunities for coaching, recognition, growth, and both structured and organic learning.

       

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; MBA preferred
  • 5-10 years experience in a relevant field such as business intelligence, statistics, economics, finance, data science, computer science, supply chain/operations management;
  • A conceptual understanding of predictive analytics, data science, machine learning
  • A demonstrated pattern of work that is both collaborative and methodical
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
  • A proven track record of candidly holding themselves and others accountable in a way that is fair and respectful
  • Strong general business acumen and analytical skills
  • A global mindset and understanding of the economy
  • Ability to identify talent and build teams that perform well
  • An adaptable mindset and willingness to shift priorities when it is in the company’s best interest
  • Demonstrates good judgement
  • Proficiency in a written communication; articulate and concise in professional reporting
  • Sound understanding of supply chain functions, forecasting, and inventory optimization principles
  • Strong background with ERP/MRP systems, SAP experience preferred
  • Experience with AI and advanced data analysis preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills
  • Understanding of the importance of proper master data setup, maintenance, and effects through the entire supply chain
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects concurrently/balance competing demands
  • Foreign language and/or experience living overseas preferred
