Job Description:

Maintain a constant presence and professional atmosphere at the reception desk to better serve our patients and staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receives patients, directing them to respective appointments or people

  • Answers and directs phone calls

  • Assists with clinic events

  • Schedules appointments for patients

  • Attends patients waiting for appointments

  • Assists Medical Assistants when needed

  • Assists with incoming and outgoing mail

  • Cross training from receptionist to MA

  • Performs other responsibilities as directed

Job Qualifications:

  • Medical Assistant or CMA credentials, required

  • Phlebotomy Certified, preferred

  • 2-4 years of MA experience required

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) preferred

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred

  • Positive, happy attitude towards others

  • Able to get along with others in a team environment

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task

  • Strong analytical skills
