This position will assist with month-end close processes, financial reporting, unclaimed property, and other general accounting functions.
Perform bank reconciliations
Perform general ledger account analysis, reconciliation, adjustment (as necessary), and create necessary supporting documentation
Prepare intercompany billings & reconciliations
Accounting for various balance sheet and income statement components
Work with the Business Intelligence team to maintain, update, and improve monthly reports
Prepare financial statements and management reports
Perform financial statement analysis
Assist in preparing and providing accounting documentation and support to the auditors
Assist with unclaimed property / escheatment data preparation, validation, and maintenance
Other general accounting support functions
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Understanding of general ledger accounting
Strong Excel skills, ability to use Microsoft Office programs and learn new software
Ability to solve problems effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills
