Job Description:

This position will assist with month-end close processes, financial reporting, unclaimed property, and other general accounting functions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform bank reconciliations

  • Perform general ledger account analysis, reconciliation, adjustment (as necessary), and create necessary supporting documentation

  • Prepare intercompany billings & reconciliations

  • Accounting for various balance sheet and income statement components

  • Work with the Business Intelligence team to maintain, update, and improve monthly reports

  • Prepare financial statements and management reports

  • Perform financial statement analysis

  • Assist in preparing and providing accounting documentation and support to the auditors

  • Assist with unclaimed property / escheatment data preparation, validation, and maintenance

  • Other general accounting support functions

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting

  • Understanding of general ledger accounting

  • Strong Excel skills, ability to use Microsoft Office programs and learn new software

  • Ability to solve problems effectively

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
