Job Description: Job Description: Directs and manages company accounting and financial functions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).  Provides strategic financial oversite to international and domestic accounting teams and in relation to the company’s ERP and other expansion initiatives. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial statement preparation and financial data review for the executive management team. 
  • Partner with Key Executives from other departments to ensure appropriate strategic decisions are made that increase revenue and improve profitability. 
  • Provide oversite and guidance to finance managers and budget managers to ensure an effective quarterly and annual budget and financial report review process to control spending, identify savings and improve accountability. 
  • Recommend and develop financial policies and procedures to meet company objectives and optimize use of ERP systems and other technology resources. 
  • Provide strategic financial leadership and support on the evaluation of potential alliances, acquisitions, mergers, employee benefits and investments and/or other issues affecting the business. 
  • Identify and lead continuous efforts to improve company profitability.   
  • Work to optimize the handling of professional accounting relationships and initiate needed strategies for improvement. 
  • Develop and manage an international finance team capable of carrying out needed initiatives. 
  • Review and approve all significant PR’s/PO’s for inventory and other purchases
  • Oversee the corporate insurance process and relationships
  • Stay aware of trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance of finance functions. 

Job Qualifications:

  • CPA required 
  • Minimum of 7 years director level experience
  • Masters degree in accounting, business administration, or related field. 
  • Minimum of 10 years professional experience with at least five years in finance and accounting management (i.e., controller, assistant controller, finance/accounting manager).? 
  • Ability to work with senior executives in a collaborative manner
